The Millennium "Trilogy"

According to Wikipedia, Stieg Larsson planned to write ten books in the Millennium series. But he suffered a fatal heart attack in 2004, having written only three – none of which had been published at the time.

Following Larsson's death, and the success of the first three books following posthumous publication, his Swedish publisher Norstedts Förlag commissioned the Swedish author and crime journalist David Lagercrantz to continue the series with Larsson's characters. To date, three have been published: The Girl in the Spider's Web (2015), The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye (2017), and The Girl Who Lived Twice (August 2019).
